Best SDS drill!
I have a cabin in the mountains off-grid where I needed to put some large anchors in rocks. The switch on my 15-year-old Sears hammer drill went out and my big HFrt SDS drill was slow as molasses and obviously requires a generator off-grid. So I bought the Ryobi 1" SDS drill- boy what a pleasant surprise! I drilled numerous 3/4" holes in greenstone rock like it was wood! This is the nicest SDS drill I have used! The depth stop has positive stops but adjusts instantly without a tool. The front handle has indents and works great when you want it and is out of the way when space is tight. It feels solid and well designed, but mostly it drills smoothly and fast in rock and concrete!

Awesome Addition
As the title suggested, this was an awesome item to add to my tool set. I purchased it to help chisel away plaster to expose brick beneath and this rotary drill handled it with ease. Great product and have no issues with it.

big power in a small tool
this Ryobi hp sds+ 1" rotary hammer drill is just one of the most versatile tools ive used! its concrete drilling and demoing capabilities are top notch, and it functions very well as an impact drill for longer bigger fasteners too! it can help w digging down thru the ground via 18"+ auger bits, as well as its chipping and chiseling functions in the hammer only mode!
ive used this to break up rocks and hardened dirts when digging post holes, as well as chipping out rocks that might stick up, and for leveling out the ground for adding in a pool. i also recently had to dig out a septic line and needed to break away the hard sediment that had built up around it, and w the hammering function, this beast put a 2 inch self sharpening chisel point down a whole foot deep in like 30 seconds.
you can drill thru concrete like its wet cardboard w this thing ,which makes adding upgrades to your house or garage or building a cinch, as this will pummel the concrete and brick and mortar youll run into with no issues! great for running wire thru to places you couldnt before!
this have beena welcomed addition to the arsenal and I couldn't recommend it more!
