This version on the part is worthless
This design update came out 2-3 years ago and is worthless. The previous version was very reliable. This newer version shears off on the post with in 15 minutes of use. I know I have tried it three times. Per their Customer Support the post is not an order able part. Thus will you are left with a non-usable $25.00 part.

Do Not Buy.
I should’ve read the reviews before buying. Within 20 minutes the pin that holds the blades on broke and of course ryobi does not sell the pins separately so you have to buy a whole new head. It’s not right. I’m returning the whole package and getting a refund.

Blade pins brake too easily
I have purchased 3 heads to replace the pins that hold the blades.
The pins need to be sold with the blades because they need to be replaced just as frequently

Horrible.
Within a few minutes of trying this tool one of the pins on the head broke rendering it useless as an edger. Purchased a new head, thinking be I just had a bad part. On this one the pin broke even faster. Honestly did you guys test this design?

Terrible product with poor quality
Pins broke within 10 minutes of using it on the first try. The design is garbage. Honestly trying to see if there are any sturdier replacement parts out there, because this was a waste of time.

Great idea poor design
Love how easy it can be to replace the blades on this accessory head. My first set lasted 3 jobs and then the blades broke. Purchased the replacement blades and changed them out and within 10 min the pin that holds the blades broke or came undone and I can't find it so now I have to replace the whole head since I can't find ANYWHERE to buy just the replacement pins. Great idea but terrible design. Love all my other Ryobi products but this should have been a little better designed.

Very disappointed
I bought this a week ago I wanted it for the string replacement being easier how ever it is the worst design ever 1st time the string broke I realized it wasn't going to be easy to remove the broken string and i was right but got it, The second time it was impossible to get the remaining string out with out destroying the the pieces they go in

VIBRATES LIKE CRAZY.
Bought this with new trimmer to help get rid of some weed and small brush along the backyard. The head either opens and throws a blade in a random direction, I attempted to use the fixed line and it throws one string out randomly and the other string won't come out no matter how I try. It does not help that it vibrates like crazy when in use and randomly. I do not have that issue at all with the feed spool.

Needs work
I have bought this product a few times and have had the same issues. The pins that hold everything together snap off within 1 to 2 uses. Also, the string breaks off in 30 seconds everytime. When it does work it's amazing though.
