Way more capable than I expected
I bought the Power Head kit with the string trimmer attachment and was very impressed by it's capability. I've worked commercial landscaping and have used plenty of higher-end, name brand gas equipment, but bought this for home use as I don't have a ton to weed-eat around the house and also wanted to move to a more eco-friendly lineup. I was pleasantly surprised to find this unit handles almost as good as the expensive gas powered equipment. It handles grass and weeds like they're almost not even there. I actually use it a good bit to help clear out underbrush in my woods and it impressed me with what it'll chew through. I use thicker line than recommended, and sometimes it'll bog down, but I give it a moment and then ease back on it. It does get warm when it's really working, but nothing alarming. Very happy with my purchase!

Excellent product
I just buy this item along with the capable 15" string trimmer. This equipment is very powerfull and it really is a blast, you dont have to struggle anymore with extension cords or the gasoline powerd ones getting out of gasoline. The battery have a long lasting live. I totally recomend this equipment.

It's a Ryobi!
I decided to get this for ease of use for my wife. I have had the Ryobi 2 stroke power head for years and it's been unstoppable, however, for my wife to use with the garden attachments, and 12" snow shovel, it would be a pain for her to start, now all we have to do is pull the trigger. I would expect long life with proper use and care as none of my many Ryobi gas or electric tools have failed me yet.

Powerful and lightway
Bought this 4 months ago, I've been able to handle the majority of tasks at my backyard by exchanging tools within this unit. The 40V battery miss function prematurely but I was offered an exchange for a brand new unit with no extra hassle.

Fast and Easy to use
I've been switching to cordless outdoor power equipment. I'm just tired of mixing gas, replacing fuel lines, and pull strings. I got this because it seems you can use a lot of different attachments. When I got it I was excited when I found out that it was able to work with my old gas attachments as well. Specifically the brush clearing attachment that I have. I love the ease of use combined with the performance tried it out was able to clear 3k sq ft of brush and cut though thumb sized weeds with little effort all on 1 charge. Great addition to my Ryobi collection. Next on my list is the tiller attachment.

Excellent Product
Works with many different tool attachments. I use the chainsaw one, the weed wacker one, and the reticulating saw one. Convenient that they use the same batteries as the lawn mower.

This gets the edging done!
Very pleased with this weedeater. It's fast, but not as easy to control or edge a straight line. It works perfect. Easy to release the string and very powerful. The battery lasted thru my entire edging of my .5 acre yard, including my flower bed.

Excellent line trimmer & blower
We should have gone from gas to battery a long time ago. This has plenty of power, no empty tank when you need to trim, and no annoying gas/oil mixing. We love the trimmer and the blower is good as well - it's a different setup than the usual blower but it has plenty of power and the freedom of no cord.
