Problems
I purchased 1 of these and returned after the entire chain oil tank leaked out. Retailer gave me a new replacement and it did the same thing. When the replacement leaked out completely all over my truck, I returned the replacement. The retailer took another off the shelf, filled the lubricant tank and asked me to test it outside. I did that and it leaked all over their parking lot. Did not "seep" lubricant, it leaked badly. After seeing that, the retailer gave me a full refund with their apology.

Exceeded expectations
I was in a tree, in no position to start a gas powered chainsaw. Father in-law said we should purchase a cord less chainsaws go to Home Depot and get it. I purchased a Ryobi mower chainsaw and recieved a weed wackier whisper series free. Got it home and immediately started using the items. As we had 40v batteries from a few other purchases. It was amazing how the chainsaw was able to keep its power consistent with out a loss or drain in motor performance, keeping it consistent to the end of the batteries run cycle. The blade was sharp and made cutting while in the tree easy. Made short work of top cutting the tree as well as sawing the trunks into smaller manageable pieces. I find myself using this tool over my gas powered chainsaw. Thanks for an awesome machine ryobi

Fantastic power
I was a bit leery using a battery powered chainsaw, but this 40 V 18 inch is just fantastic has great power great to work and can cut through a lot bigger trees than I thought. I would advise buying it it is wonderful

Great saw
I picked up this saw last week. Already had a 7.5 ah battery from my mower. It's a great fit and the saw balances well with the battery. Lots of power and cuts quicky with very clean results. Lightweight and easy to handle. Perfect for around the house. No engine maintenance to worry about. Just add chain oil and sharpen the chain. Very easy.

All the power without all the fuss
Needed a chainsaw to do occasional tree maintenance but didn't want to mess with gas. This chain saw give me all the power of gas without the headache and maintenance required for a 2-cycle engine. I'd recommend this without giving it a second thought.

Good chainsaw. Battery can’t take the heat
The chainsaw works just fine. However, the battery would shutdown after 10 minutes of cutting due to heat. Other than that, works fine
