Earth auger
Bought this auger 6 months ago to build a cattle panel fence. Drilled 21 holes on half a charge from the battery. I really enjoyed using this auger as it saved me a full day of posthole digging.

Does a Great Job
Bought this for a near term job of 2 dozen post holes. 4' high fence so digging out holes ~20 in and with bit length and poser I haven't had problems. Not quite done yet, but has gone through mud and small roots < 1'' without a hitch. There are some rocks but things under couple inches round its been able to pick up and lift out of the hole. The anti-kickback feature is great, have experienced it a few times as there is a couple inch thick rock shelf in the area I am digging and so will hit that and instead of getting slung around hard this feature saves me a lot of aches. The reverse also comes in handy because after busting out a hole through the rock I can still get caught up under the edges and so this allows me to back out and make the hole wider.
Now if I could get a jack hammer to get through the rock that would be nice.

This thing is an absolute BEAST!
I bought the combo that comes with a 8" earth and 8" ice auger 2 weeks ago. I have since planted over 200 trees and I can testify to this tools capabilities! I was able to bore about 50 - 18" deep holes per battery and the only thing that slowed me down was a little bit of sod getting stuck on the teeth. It has 3 speeds, slow, high and reverse, I mainly used the slow function and it effortlessly dug into both clay and loamy soils. High speed is crazy awesome too! The anti-kickback feature engaged a couple of times when I hit a big rock or tree root, which was nice and saved me from getting tossed around. I am planning to use this for fencing in the future, and based on the last 2 days of use I am 100% certain this will work well for that, once I buy an extension kit. I also like that it has multiple auger bit sizes and plan to get the 4" to use with fencing. I will definitely be using this for ice fishing as well! It gets a bit heavy after extended use, but for the power it provides, I love it! 5 year warranty on top of a great product, sold!
My only knock is that the product came with a free rapid charger voucher that was already expired when I tried to claim it.

Best hole digger I have ever owned
I bought it two years ago and have been using it to dig holes around the house for many purposes (building bulkhead, planting trees, etc.). It is very easy to put together and use.

Extremely effective
Purchased a week ago and so far it's been awesome. I used the 8" bit that came with the kit and it powered through the clay and rock soil down to 28" easily.
Kept hitting chucks of concrete and limestone and the antikickback would stop it from throwing me. Id either losen them from the surrounding soil when they were small or take them out completely if they were large and keep going with the auger. It still has a little buck but it's not nearly as extreme as a gas powered. I kept it at low speed except in one spot where it needed high speed to get through the clay. The anti kickback was trying to engage when it was that thick.
After digging the 4 holes there wasn't even a dent in the battery, it still registered as 4 bars.
The auger definitely weighs less than a gas powered one but its still not a light tool, as soon as it's buried in thick clay or dirt its still plenty heavy for the average person.
I'll be using this tool a lot and plan on getting the 4" bit to start holes off when it gets extremely hot and dry. I'll definitely update this review as I get to know this tool even better.

Torque Monster Great for Small Fences Cos.
I used this augur in NW fl sandy soil with some roots, no problem. 30 holes. No recharge. Paid for itself on the first job. We'll see how it does in dry clay soon.
